Woah, hello my long lost friend.
My goodness gracious, I stranded my little blog …again. I’m back, but who knows for how long. :) I’ll try and stick around this time. Since I’ve not posted in ages - here is the run down on my life:
1. I’m pregnant! WHOOP! Baby is healthy and expected to be born on/around 9.27.11. We are all so very excited. I can’t wait to meet him or her. We will find out if it is a him or her in 7 weeks.
2. Grace, my 4 year old, starts kindergarten in the fall. That makes me cry. She is still a baby for heaven’s sake!
3. I miss my Mama every. single. day. I’ve gone through so many grief phases, and then back again, I don’t know where I stand now - other than I know even though the stabbing pain fades, the memories don’t - which I am so thankful. I’m happy my Grace still talks about “Memo” constantly, all though it breaks my heart when she is upset about something and she cries for her Memo. What a bond those two had. It was so special. I am heart broken that our newest addition will not know Memo, but I’m sure Grace will give him/her the scoop!
4. My best friend, Heidi is engaged!! I can’t wait! I’m so excited…. and it looks like we will be a family of 4 at her wedding on October 15th! What a special day that will be!
5. On March 5th, there was a “Get Your Rear in Gear” 5k here in Raleigh which is for colon cancer awareness… we had a team of almost 50 people and raised almost $2,000 dollars! I am so lucky for the friends and family that I have.. it was a great day and I loved being able to honor my Mom in such a way! Already planning for 2012’s 5k!
SO far, 2011 has started out pretty well … I feel like my head more clear and that I’m more accepting of the way things are. I promise to return more often to my sweet little blog. I’ve missing typing with no plan of whats going to come out next!
